The patient presented with a mass that was identified as a cystic trichoepithelioma. This benign follicular cyst had ruptured, leading to the release of keratinous material into the surrounding tissue. This event elicited a strong inflammatory response. The mass was completely removed via surgical excision, which is considered curative for this type of lesion.
